Information Security Officer - Senior (Fintech)

What you will do

• Act as the primary security contact for business units, providing guidance, oversight, and decision support.
• Design and implement security solutions aligned with internal and external requirements.
• Develop security best practices, including patch management and technology obsolescence oversight.
• Coordinate third-party suppliers and integrate security controls into business projects and operations.
• Oversee risk treatment actions and manage security incident analysis and breach remediation.
• Support security certification audits and customer-initiated security assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IT security, engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT security or a related field, including experience navigating complex environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills.
• Good German proficiency is mandatory.
• Results-driven, persistent, flexible, and able to work in a multicultural international environment.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and DORA security frameworks is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Security certification such as CISSP or CEH.
• Google Cloud security and DevOps knowledge.
