Optus Summer Internship Program (Finance)

Location: Macquarie Park, Sydney, NSW, Australia; hybrid work with three days per week on campus

What you will do

• Support financial decision-making through performance analysis and commercial insights.
• Contribute to customer billing, payments, credit risk, and revenue assurance.
• Assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Provide finance analysis for network investments and consumer products and services.
• Support financial transactions, reporting, controls, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Currently studying in the penultimate or final year of a university or TAFE-equivalent program.
• Studying business, commerce, finance, accounting, economics, information systems, data analytics, risk, or a related discipline.
• Must be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident.
• Must be available for the full program from November 2026 through February 2027.
• Must be willing to work predominantly from the Macquarie Park campus, with three campus days per week.
