DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Kraków, Poland; occasional travel and potential participation in an on-call rotation are required.

What you will do

• Automate, deploy, and secure customer-facing cloud solutions using DevOps practices.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and deployment automation.
• Work with Software Development, Product, and Operations teams to remove constraints across the product lifecycle.
• Develop monitoring and alerting for AWS infrastructure and deployed software.
• Support reliable availability of internal and production systems and contribute to on-call operations.
• Produce technical and process documentation while bringing additional expertise to the existing team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, Route 53, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, and AWS CLI.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Git, and Linux administration.
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and automation with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Argo CD, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages such as Bash, plus knowledge of networking, security, databases, monitoring, and logging.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; experience working in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with JFrog Platform or Artifactory and message queue systems such as Apache Kafka, AmazonMQ, or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, OpenVPN, Keycloak, communication tools, and data engineering or analytics solutions.
• Awareness of compliance standards such as ISO and CIS.
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and Systems, or a related field.
