Associate Director, Social (Paid Social)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with teams in the office around four days a week. This is a UK-based role and requires the right to work in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day paid social relationships for key accounts and act as the senior client contact.
• Translate client business objectives into integrated paid social strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps.
• Oversee campaign planning, activation, optimisation, testing, quality assurance, and platform best practices across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels.
• Manage account budgets, forecasting, pacing, growth opportunities, and commercial delivery.
• Collaborate with planning, data, analytics, and creative teams to deliver cross-channel outcomes.
• Lead, coach, and develop Account Managers, Senior Executives, and Executives while driving operational improvement and resolving escalations.

Requirements

• Significant paid social media experience, ideally in an agency environment.
• Deep expertise across major paid social platforms and social performance frameworks.
• Experience leading teams and managing senior-level client relationships.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to connect platform activity to business and commercial outcomes.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder-management skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to oversee complex accounts and multiple workstreams.
