TL;DR
IT Business Analyst (Data Lake): Supporting the implementation of a governed data lake by clarifying stakeholder requirements, designing conceptual and logical data models, and specifying data sourcing and structure with an accent on data quality, lineage, privacy, security, and regulatory alignment. Focus on creating functional testing scenarios, maintaining metadata and data definitions, aligning implementations with target architecture, and improving automation requirements across Agile delivery.
Location: Bucharest, Romania; flexible work from home or the office

What you will do
- Collaborate with business stakeholders from Financial Insights, Direct Products, Service and Operations, and KYC to clarify requirements.
- Design conceptual and logical data models and support engineers in translat them into physical models.
- Write detailed specifications for sourc and structur data in the data lake.
- Create test scenarios and participate in functional test.
- Define and maintain requirements for data quality, lineage, privacy, security, metadata, and data governance.
- Align data lake implementation with target architecture and contribute to automation and process improvements.
Requirements
- Strong conceptual, analytical, communication, and requirements-gather skills.
- Hands-on SQL experience with medium-complexity queries and a good understand of database concepts.
- Experience writ technical and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Advanced English proficiency required.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field is desirable.
Nice to have
- Experience in bank or financial institutions, especially Credit Risk and Credit Risk modell.
- Knowledge of data management, dimensional data modell, data warehouses, and data governance practices.
- Knowledge of finance, regulatory processes, and operational risk.
- Ability to apply data modell concepts and techniques.
