Asset Integration Engineer (Aviation Data & Analytics)

Location: Atlanta Area, Georgia, United States. Flexible work arrangements are listed, with occasional travel for collaboration with global teams. Applicants must have current US work authorization.

What you will do

• Build and improve model integration pipelines and automate data workflows.
• Support aviation partners with aircraft data retrieval, including parameters and logbooks.
• Integrate predictive maintenance models into the Skywise data ecosystem.
• Transform disparate datasets into high-signal analytical models.
• Research AI/ML opportunities and technical architectures for scalability and cost optimization.
• Participate in technical discussions, documentation, innovation initiatives, and international partner meetings.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic aircraft systems, aircraft parameters, and health-monitoring sensors such as temperature, vibration, and pressure sensors.
• Basic coding experience or an equivalent master’s degree, preferably with Python, SQL, and Regex.
• Ability to analyze datasets and investigate the source and meaning of data.
• English proficiency sufficient to explain technical solutions to engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, or an equivalent master’s degree.

Nice to have

• Experience or willingness to learn Palantir Foundry, Apache Spark, PySpark, and specialized Python frameworks used by Skywise.
• Ability to propose new AI/ML opportunities and research R&D topics autonomously.
