What you will do

• Lead the Innovative Medicine Cost Engineering and Design to Value center of excellence.
• Set and execute business priorities supporting Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D value delivery objectives.
• Develop and govern cost structures across Innovative Medicine supply chain categories.
• Lead cost engineering initiatives, business transformation deliverables, and strategic cost opportunity plans.
• Build should-cost models, Design for Value benchmarks, and global cost benchmarks for commodities and products.
• Oversee cost engineering digital technologies, training priorities, onboarding, mentoring, and development of cost engineering resources.

Requirements

• Master of Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Biological Sciences.
• At least 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with detailed knowledge of multiple manufacturing technologies.
• At least 5 years of practical should-cost modeling experience in a manufacturing company.
• Broad knowledge of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, and/or packaging manufacturing processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a complex, highly matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• CPSM certification.
• Understanding of activity-based cost accounting for product cost modeling and analytics.
