English to Romanian Linguist & Copy Editor for Product, Marketing & UI Content

Location: Remote, worldwide

Expected volume: 5000+ words per week

What you will do

• Translate English content into Romanian for marketing, UI, product, support, informational, and legal use cases.
• Copy-edit and post-edit machine-translated content.
• Use a client-specific CAT tool; training is provided during onboarding.
• Deliver more than 5000 words per week while meeting quality and deadline requirements.
• Respond to feedback and complete revisions as part of an ongoing localization project.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Romanian proficiency and excellent command of English.
• At least 2 years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or at least 5 years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.
• Experience translating from English into Romanian across multiple content types.
• Experience using CAT tools.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, responsiveness, reliability, and openness to feedback.
