German Translator (Freelancer, 3D Printing)

hirify.global develops 3D printing tools used for product design, prototyping, manufacturing, and medical applications.

What you will do

• Post-edit English marketing materials, product content, and software UIs translated into German by a custom AI model.
• Review approved content for accuracy, quality, consistency, and appropriate marketing tone.
• Use CAT tools to manage German translations, termbases, and translation memories.
• Localize German video content through subtitling, voice-over creation or editing, and refinement of AI-generated video.
• Research specialized terminology and provide feedback to localization managers and content writers.

Requirements

• Native-level German proficiency (C2) is required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication is required.
• At least two years of professional translation and editing experience.
• Experience with CAT tools such as memoQ, XTM, Trados, or Memsource.
• Experience translating technical, scientific, medical, or commercial content.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with SEO or AI search optimization.
• Knowledge of manufacturing tools such as 3D printers or CAD/CAM solutions.
