French Linguist & Translator (Localization)

Location: Remote from the UK

Day rate: £300 per day

A B2B platform connects freelance contractors with businesses seeking specialized skills and is localizing its core product for expansion into the Canadian market.

What you will do

• Review English and French platform interfaces side by side across multiple user journeys.
• Identify and correct issues in meaning, spelling, grammar, and linguistic quality.
• Document changes clearly for a non-French-speaking development team.
• Translate linguistic feedback into structured, actionable tasks.
• Track review progress and ensure all issues are resolved before launch.
• Work directly with the Senior Product Manager while independently owning deliverables.

Requirements

• Fully fluent French and English, with strong command of grammar and nuanced meaning.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to reviewing digital user journeys.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate linguistic feedback to technical, non-native-speaking stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously.

Nice to have

• Experience localizing technical B2B products or digital platforms.
