Research & Development Summer Internship (MSc) 2027

Location: Newcastle Innovation Centre, UK. Full-time, onsite summer internship from 5 July to 24 September 2027.

Salary: £2,625 per month.

What you will do

• Work on live business R&D projects and real product development challenges.
• Conduct hands-on research in laboratories and pilot plants.
• Help develop and test fabric care and home care products.
• Collaborate with R&D, product development, and technology teams.
• Take responsibility for assigned projects and deliver outcomes with support from a manager and mentors.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK for the full internship period without sponsorship.
• Currently pursuing an MSc in a scientific or engineering discipline and graduating in 2027 or 2028, or already graduated and able to complete the internship.
• Strong verbal and written English language skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and passion for research and innovation.
• Evidence of achievements in academic or non-academic activities.
