Assistant Buyer (Beauty Ecommerce)

Location: Manchester, UK; on-site role.

What you will do

• Support the Junior Buyer and Buyer in building, managing, and delivering brand budgets and joint business plans.
• Coordinate promotions, first-to-market launches, exclusives, new product ordering, and gift-with-purchase activations.
• Communicate brand activations to site managers, marketing teams, and trading teams.
• Work with Lookfantastic and boutique site managers to ensure effective brand representation online.
• Monitor category performance, analyse sales patterns and competitor activity, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Attend brand meetings, prepare notes, and provide feedback.

Requirements

• Financial and analytical ability, including budgeting and performance review.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness of the beauty industry and strong knowledge of brand partners.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and external clients.
• Project management and negotiation skills.
