What you will do

• Develop, plan, and buy balanced product ranges across multiple categories against sales, markdown, and profit KPIs.
• Analyze market trends, styles, fabrics, colours, and competitor activity to identify new product opportunities.
• Build relationships with European and Far East suppliers, negotiate costs, source materials, and manage samples.
• Own the critical path from product selection and fitting through approvals, photography, and campaign execution.
• Work with E-Commerce and Marketing teams to improve online sales through tone of voice, image curation, and digital presentation.
• Travel to trade shows, sourcing trips, and range sign-offs; experienced buyers may manage and mentor junior buyers.

Requirements

• Degree or academic background in Fashion or Buying, or equivalent hands-on buying experience in a fast-paced head office environment.
• Commercial understanding, strong analytical skills, knowledge of market trends, and a passion for product development.
• Confidence to propose ideas, take intelligent risks, and deliver initiatives through to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for influencing cross-functional teams and working with suppliers.
• Exceptional organization and resilience when managing multiple ranges in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants requiring sponsorship must meet Home Office sponsorship requirements.

• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing junior buyers.
