TL;DR
Platform Engineer (Azure/Kubernetes): Designing and operating scalable Azure platforms to enable development teams to deliver faster and more securely with an accent on AKS, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code. Focus on building automated landing zones, managing cloud governance, and enhancing platform reliability through Terraform and ArgoCD.
Location: Hybrid in Budapest, Hungary. Valid working visa for Hungary is required.

What you will do
- Design and maintain Azure infrastructure, including networking and governance controls.
- Operate and enhance Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for secure and scalable operations.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and GitOps deployment processes using Terraform and ArgoCD.
- Evolve platform standards and self-service tooling for engineering teams.
- Support project teams during onboarding and resolve complex platform challenges.
- Improve platform performance, security, and operational documentation.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, networking, and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, ideally Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Proficiency with GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD.
- Experience with Terraform and modern CI/CD approaches.
- Knowledge of cloud security, RBAC, and policy-driven management.
- Fluent/professional level of Hungarian and English.
Nice to have
- Experience with OpenShift.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or OCI.
