Onboarding Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage onboarding for merchants, business accounts, individual accounts, and crypto clients, including KYC and KYB procedures.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate agreements and onboarding documentation.
• Act as the main client contact throughout the onboarding lifecycle and maintain long-term professional relationships.
• Coordinate end-to-end merchant and account registration with internal teams and external contractors.
• Work with Risk and AML teams on compliance standards, first-line approvals, due diligence, and risk assessment.
• Support technical setup, identify onboarding inefficiencies, and suggest process improvements.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in onboarding, account management, or customer support, preferably in payments, acquiring, banking, financial services, or crypto.
• Strong communication, organizational, time-management, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand complex business structures and assess broader business and risk considerations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.
• Ability to work on-site in the Mexico City office.

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge or experience.
• Knowledge of crypto, blockchain-based products, or virtual asset services.
