Research Scientist (Industrial AI)

Fast-growing, profitable regional AI technology company headquartered in Singapore, delivering industrial AI and deep tech solutions for major enterprise and listed clients in manufacturing and oil and gas.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy industrial AI algorithms for manufacturing processes, shop floor operations, and equipment performance.
• Integrate AI models with sensors, processors, and physical devices in collaboration with hardware and technical solutions teams.
• Conduct hands-on testing, validation, and prototyping for enterprise solutions.
• Solve technical challenges that improve operational efficiency in large-scale industrial deployments.
• Train and mentor deployment engineers on implementation best practices.

Requirements

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML models or advanced algorithms for hardware systems and sensor data.
• Practical problem-solving approach and interest in applying software to physical hardware systems.
• Good command of English and Chinese, with Cantonese or Mandarin required, for collaboration with regional teams and clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial controls, embedded processors, PLCs, or manufacturing automation.
