Senior Director, Risk Data Strategy

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days per week onsite

What you will do

• Define and execute the risk data architecture strategy in alignment with business priorities, enterprise data strategy, and the risk management framework.
• Lead improvements to risk data aggregation, governance, lineage, controls, and reporting.
• Modernize cloud architecture, data platforms, modelling, warehousing, pipelines, integrations, security, and resiliency.
• Own a large, complex, multi-year transformation from investment case and roadmap through execution, adoption, and benefits realization.
• Evaluate artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, and automation opportunities for risk data and decision-making.
• Partner with senior leaders across Risk, Finance, Compliance, Operations, Technology, Internal Audit, and enterprise data functions.

Requirements

• Experience leading and developing high-performing, multifunctional teams.
• Deep expertise in modern data architecture, cloud platforms, integration, data modelling, security, resiliency, and data controls.
• Proven delivery experience with large, complex, multi-year business and technology transformation programs.
• Practical understanding of OSFI Capital Adequacy Requirements and BCBS 239 principles.
• Strong communication skills with technical teams, business leaders, executives, governance committees, and Board-level stakeholders.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified Toronto location, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.
