Category Management Internship - Summer 2027 (PPE)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global Corporate Headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The 14-week internship runs from May 17, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage.

What you will do

• Support category managers across gloves, helmets, hearing, and eyewear with market and competitive research.
• Research competitor products, pricing, features, positioning, market trends, and customer needs.
• Analyze sales, product, and market data and build Excel reports and tracking tools.
• Prepare category review, business planning, sales meeting, customer presentation, and training materials.
• Support product launches, product updates, sales tools, and marketing projects.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams on category growth projects.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to research information, analyze findings, communicate recommendations, and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability and willingness to learn new products, systems, and processes, including Salesforce.com and SAP Business One.

Nice to have

• Prior internship, project, or work experience in business, marketing, sales, or a related field.
