Credit Supervisor

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Full-time onsite position with flexible work hours aligned with business unit operating hours. Relocation and expatriate assignments are not considered. Employment visa sponsorship is not available, and applicants with time-limited visa status will not be considered.

hirify.global Malaysia Limited is hiring for a credit and receivables management leadership position.

What you will do

• Supervise two direct reports performing credit and receivables management functions, including coaching, mentoring, performance reviews, and career development discussions.
• Review financial analyses and credit recommendations, approve customer credit lines within delegated authority, and assess financial statements, industry trends, projections, credit reports, and other risk measures.
• Work with Sales and business units to secure and manage collateral, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, prepayments, cash bonds, and corporate parental guarantees.
• Monitor credit limits, customer exposure, data integrity, and SOX compliance; initiate credit holds and develop collection strategies for overdue or uncollectible accounts.
• Review and negotiate basic credit terms in sales and supply contracts with Sales, business units, and Legal.
• Oversee accounts receivable reporting, reconciliations, month-end close activities, unallocated credit clearing, and resolution of account discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and at least five years of overall work experience.
• Fluent English with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Strong analytical, teamwork, and customer engagement skills.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia without employer-sponsored employment visa support.
