DevOps Engineer

Salary: $187,000–$204,000 per year, plus $47,000–$51,000 in immediately vested company 401(k) contributions.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required before applying.
• Clearance sponsorship or clearance processing is not available.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 10 years of related experience, including Agile development, system architecture, AWS cloud administration, and virtualized server management.
• Strong experience with Linux, Windows administration, Git, object-oriented programming, networking, security practices, monitoring, resiliency, and performance optimization.
• Fluency in at least one programming language such as Python, Ruby, Java, C, C++, or Go.

What you will do

• Support platform architecture, deployment, debugging, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Build and automate secure release pipelines across development, testing, staging, QA, and production environments.
• Develop configuration management and infrastructure automation using Git, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, AWS, VMware, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Configure continuous integration environments with Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle, Maven, Ant, and shell tooling.
• Design and maintain web service infrastructure, monitoring, high-availability architectures, and performance optimization practices.
• Serve as a technical lead for an Agile team and collaborate with developers, testers, customers, project management, and support staff.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Jenkins or Bamboo with Docker and Kubernetes for automated deployment.
• Experience with caching technologies such as Memcached, ActiveMQ, Redis, or APC.
• Experience with MySQL clusters, replication and tuning, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.
