MEP Engineer (Advanced Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in El Segundo, California, United States

Salary: $125,000–$160,000 annually plus equity

Rangeview is building an advanced aerospace foundry using software, automation, materials science, and modern manufacturing infrastructure.

What you will do

• Lead MEP engineering from concept through commissioning for manufacturing expansions, utility upgrades, equipment installations, and future factories.
• Engineer electrical distribution, industrial HVAC, process cooling, compressed air, industrial gases, vacuum, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
• Integrate utility requirements for melting furnaces, casting systems, and other production equipment with Manufacturing Engineering.
• Review drawings, calculations, equipment selections, and system designs from external engineers and vendors.
• Support construction, resolve technical issues, and coordinate commissioning, performance verification, and engineering handover.
• Develop infrastructure standards focused on reliability, maintainability, efficiency, and lifecycle cost.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of engineering experience in industrial facilities and manufacturing infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical or electrical engineering expertise with working knowledge of multidisciplinary industrial MEP systems and process utilities.
• Experience with engineering calculations, technical specifications, design reviews, industrial equipment integration, and applicable engineering codes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and contractor or consultant coordination skills.
• Must work full-time as a W-2 employee onsite in El Segundo, California, and be authorized to access ITAR-controlled information as a U.S. person.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, investment casting, foundries, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience with high-temperature furnaces, vacuum systems, process cooling, industrial ventilation, or high-capacity electrical infrastructure.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering software and experience with industrial commissioning.
• Experience in a rapidly scaling manufacturing startup.
