Freelance Content Writer (SEO)

What you will do

• Write comprehensive articles across health, legal, finance, and technology topics with minimal supervision.
• Create long-form guides, how-to articles, software and tool roundups, comparison posts, trend reports, and thought leadership content.
• Develop content that ranks in search results, generates organic links, and supports client SEO traffic goals.
• Adapt tone, complexity, and structure to different audiences and style guides, including writing effective titles to improve click-through rates.
• Build relationships with writers, reporters, and web editors while incorporating feedback from editors, clients, and teammates.
• Collaborate with design teams and provide guidance on design and UX best practices.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a content writer, ideally with publication on reputable news sites or industry blogs.
• Extensive knowledge of niche topics in the health, legal, finance, and/or technology industries.
• Intermediate SEO knowledge and working experience with SEO tools.
• Strong project management, interpersonal, prioritization, deadline management, and independent-working skills.
• Four-year university degree and close attention to detail.
• Portfolio with at least three diverse writing samples in the technology or finance vertical.
