Senior Manager, Credit (Fintech)

Location: Remote - US

Base pay range: $151,300–$178,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Own the underwriting operating model and hold the credit team accountable to consistent decision quality.
• Define credit standards, limits, exception criteria, escalation paths, and policy governance.
• Build backtest infrastructure for evaluating rule changes against historical application data, including false-positive analysis.
• Partner with Data Science on credit model inputs, validation, and automated decisioning.
• Lead and develop the credit team while building analytical capability.
• Deliver portfolio analytics covering delinquency, cohort performance, limit utilization, exception trends, and application fraud signals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of credit underwriting or credit risk experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading a credit team and designing operating models.
• Deep commercial underwriting experience, including credit limits, financial signals, and independent credit decisions.
• Hands-on experience with commercial credit bureaus such as D&B and ownership of KYB processes.
• Experience tracking delinquency, cohort performance, and limit utilization, with strong written communication for exception documentation and executive updates.
• Background in fintech, corporate cards, or SMB credit environments.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to automated credit decisioning hirify.globals.
• SQL or Snowflake proficiency for self-serve data analysis.
