Manager Package Production (Packaging)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $92,000–$138,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage the creation, review, and approval of packaging artwork.
• Translate creative concepts into executable packaging artwork with marketing, design, and production teams.
• Oversee project timelines and ensure artwork assets are delivered for production on schedule.
• Ensure product artwork meets industry and regional labeling regulations.
• Review designs for accuracy, spelling, layout, and production specifications.
• Coordinate with printing partners and other external vendors to ensure accurate reproduction and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in packaging design or project management focused on artwork development and production.
• Strong understanding of printing processes and packaging materials.
• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with industry trends and customer and consumer preferences.
