Production Artist

Location: On-site in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Salary: $45.00–$55.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Create high-quality artwork for basic to intermediate production assignments, including packaging and circulars.
• Incorporate photography, text, legal requirements, branding guidelines, and client technical specifications into final layouts.
• Use industry-standard software, tools, and print techniques to deliver accurate, consistent, and timely artwork.
• Attend client and pre-production meetings, gather assignment details, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain project plans and status information in the project tracking system.
• Complete assignments within production workflows, budgets, work orders, SOPs, and client brand standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts or a related field.
• At least 6 years of previous graphic arts experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced computer skills on Apple Mac systems, including Adobe Design Suite, Acrobat, QuarkXPress, Agile, and related tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, planning, budgeting, and project management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with occasional overtime and travel.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s degree.
