Industrial Security Operations Intern (Defense Technology)

Location: Fully onsite in Arlington, VA; Fall River, MA; San Diego, CA; or Mount Laurel, NJ, United States

Salary: $28–$34 per hour

What you will do

• Support Facility Security Officer operations for classified laboratories, offices, personnel, and systems.
• Assist with visitor procedures, employee and visitor badging, vendor escorts, and access control.
• Coordinate meetings, calendars, onboarding logistics, mail handling, and office administration.
• Track, audit, and manage inventory associated with contracts, materials, and information systems.
• Prepare security training and briefings and support employee clearance processing.
• Assist with compliance assessments and revise and validate security processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• Must work fully onsite at one of the listed U.S. locations.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in Business Management, Engineering, Criminal Justice, International Studies, or a related field.
• College juniors or rising seniors are preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, teamwork, collaboration, reliability, and initiative skills.
