Cyber Security Intern

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: USD $27.00–$33.00 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential security incidents.
• Support vulnerability scanning and document findings and remediation efforts.
• Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities.
• Assist with user access reviews and identity and access management processes.
• Use data analysis, statistical models, historical information, and financial knowledge to inform risk exposure and management strategies.
• Help develop risk assessment and risk monitoring processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA for this remote role.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher, or an international equivalent; relevant certifications will be considered.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information effectively.
• Interest in developing deeper knowledge of cybersecurity.
