Quality Engineer (Supplier Quality)

Location: Onsite in Hackettstown, New Jersey, United States. Up to 10% travel is required. Candidates must already have US work authorization permitting employment.

Base salary: $83,300–$133,280 annually.

What you will do

• Manage operational supplier quality activities, including supplier qualification, development, assessments, and performance KPIs.
• Assess manufacturing and customer issues through the PARRS system and coordinate action plans to improve FPY, CCRP cycle time, and DPPM.
• Recommend equipment and measurement methods for product and process quality while supporting safety and housekeeping improvements.
• Support quality planning, customer audits, quality-system audits, and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Review non-conforming products through the Material Review Board process and lead investigations, corrective actions, and recurrence prevention.
• Drive supplier-part and subcontractor-service approvals, including PPAP, product surveillance, and improvement workshops at supplier facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality, Operational Excellence, Supply Chain Management, or Manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or oversight of a Quality Management System.
• Ability to coordinate several projects and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional experts.
• Existing authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
