Staff HW Technician (Electronics)

What you will do

• Operate and maintain the electronics R&D laboratory, including equipment, tools, materials, and safety readiness.
• Build, modify, assemble, and troubleshoot prototypes, development systems, electrical harnesses, cables, connectors, and electronic assemblies.
• Perform soldering, rework, board modifications, PCB assembly, bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot development test equipment and testers.
• Design and execute laboratory tests for PV panels, batteries, motors, actuators, and electrical and electronic systems.
• Support RF measurements, field trials, validation activities, test-result documentation, and failure analysis with engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics laboratories, R&D, testing, prototype development, or similar technical roles.
• Strong practical electronics and electrical skills, including soldering, wiring, harness assembly, board work, and prototype construction.
• Experience using laboratory test and measurement equipment and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to independently build test setups and execute test procedures.
• Ability and willingness to support field testing and work outside the laboratory when required.
• Strong technical aptitude, practical problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Electronics Technician, Practical Engineer, or other relevant technical certification or education.
• Experience with RF testing and measurement equipment.
• Experience with batteries, motors, PV systems, or robotic systems.
• Experience in multidisciplinary R&D teams spanning electrical, mechanical, firmware, and systems engineering.
