Prototyping Engineer (Clean Energy)

What you will do

• Operate and maintain workshop machines, tools, equipment, and 3D printers.
• Build, assemble, modify, repair, and fabricate R&D prototypes and mechanical parts.
• Build mechanical models, fixtures, and test setups.
• Prepare and execute mechanical experiments, tests, and field trials.
• Support Mechanical and Electronics Engineering teams with prototype builds and testing activities.
• Manage workshop inventory and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace.

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude and hands-on mechanical skills.
• Experience with workshop tools, machinery, prototype fabrication, and assembly.
• Basic machining and mechanical fabrication capabilities.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and mechanical assemblies.
• Organized, methodical, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems independently.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams and willingness to develop new technical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in an R&D workshop or prototype development environment.
• Experience supporting mechanical testing and field trials.
