Senior Analog and RF Engineer (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Own the analog and RF communication path from system architecture through detailed design.
• Define, develop, and integrate custom SoC and ASIC solutions with semiconductor suppliers and technology partners.
• Evaluate transmitter and receiver architectures such as Zero-IF, Low-IF/NZ-IF, and Superheterodyne.
• Perform RF and analog analysis covering noise budget, link budget, dynamic range, sensitivity, linearity, distortion, interference, and channel performance.
• Design signal paths, including filters, amplifiers, gain stages, matching networks, and signal-conditioning circuits.
• Optimize antenna design and RF performance, including matching, efficiency, radiation characteristics, impedance, and interaction with the capsule and biological environment.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in very low-power analog and RF engineering, preferably in wireless communications, RFICs, or mixed-signal systems.
• Experience with SoC and mixed-signal architecture, including analog, RF, digital, and power-management integration.
• Strong knowledge of RF and analog communication architectures and transmitter/receiver design, including filters, amplifiers, LNAs, PAs, mixers, matching networks, and signal-conditioning circuits.
• Strong understanding of PCB-level RF implementation, including layout, grounding, shielding, power integrity, signal integrity, and RF isolation.

Nice to have

• Experience writing design and technical specifications.
• Experience with transmitter, receiver, and antenna simulation, as well as laboratory measurement equipment and lab work.
• Familiarity with board design, medical equipment development processes, and RF compliance standards.
