Staff Technical Program Manager (Automotive)

Location: Fremont, California, United States; 4–5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings, events, and occasional travel required.

Annual base salary: $154,000–$187,000 for California. The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global is developing electric pickup trucks and rugged SUVs, including all-electric and range-extender powertrains, while rebuilding an iconic American automotive brand.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain project plans covering milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Coordinate Engineering, Design, R&D, and Operations to deliver digital product features.
• Clarify requirements, identify blockers, propose solutions, and align cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and present solutions aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the rollout of technical solutions, including performance, reliability, and consumer adoption.
• Support technical trade-offs and scalable, secure product development using knowledge of APIs, data systems, and platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of program management experience, especially with web and mobile customer experiences.
• Experience building and launching complex digital experiences used by millions of people.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, mobile applications, web applications, and enterprise systems such as CRM or ERP.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet, and project reporting dashboards.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot.
• Strong communication, collaboration, risk management, and Agile, Scrum, or SAFe experience; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
