Head of Data Operations (Autonomous Vehicles)

What you will do

• Lead and scale Data Operations across mapping, labeling, triage, and future operational teams.
• Partner with Product, Autonomy, and Systems Engineering to define data ontologies, operator policies, specifications, and cross-functional requirements.
• Establish workflows that deliver high volumes of quality maps, labels, and triage annotations.
• Manage strategic vendors and partner organizations, including contracts, budgets, training, and policy adherence.
• Define requirements for tooling and automation that reduce manual operational overhead.
• Use organizational metrics and data analysis to improve throughput, workflow efficiency, and quality control.

Requirements

• 10+ years of operations management or related experience leading data-centric organizations.
• Significant experience directing multidisciplinary teams responsible for data annotation, mapping operations, triage, or related functions.
• Experience managing globally distributed workforce vendors and establishing BPO strategies.
• Ability to architect, implement, and scale complex, data-driven operational workflows.
• Strong data analysis skills, including building and reporting organizational-level business metrics.
• Deep understanding of machine-learning training for perception models, HD mapping, data infrastructure, and visualization tools.
