Insurance Executive

Location: Based in the Cayman office

What you will do

• Manage the insurance and reinsurance renewal process for a portfolio of Cayman clients.
• Issue and contribute to insurance contracts, policy wordings, and endorsements.
• Lead strategic input into captive and reinsurance program structure, design, and analysis.
• Oversee claims processing and resolution, including claims reviews.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and interact with regulators regarding client business changes.
• Act as Client Executive, build client relationships, negotiate fees and management agreements, and provide technical support and training to colleagues.

Requirements

• Internationally recognized insurance or risk management qualification, such as A.C.I.I. or CPCU.
• Minimum 7 years of reinsurance or insurance experience, ideally including captive management.
• Minimum 7 years of recent experience building customer relationships in insurance management or client services.
• Working knowledge of investment and insurance accounting.
• Strong knowledge of captive and reinsurance policy and agreement structures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to manage complex workloads, lead meetings, present overseas, and research independently.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of recent supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in an insurance regulatory environment.
