What you will do

• Review and assess escalated wire transactions flagged by sanctions screening systems.
• Determine whether transactions are permissible under OFAC and other applicable sanctions programs.
• Conduct quality control reviews of sanctions screening activities and verify adherence to regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Advise business partners on sanctions compliance laws, regulations, standards, and program updates.
• Identify sanctions-related compliance risks and collaborate on cross-functional projects.
• Consult management on complex or sensitive investigations and perform technically difficult compliance activities independently.

Requirements

• Exposure to AML, risk, compliance, sanctions, or general banking operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in changing environments and coordinate compliance activities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Employment-based visa sponsorship is not available, including sponsorship for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, and CPT status.
