Property Management Intern

Location: Onsite at the corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas, throughout the entire ten-week summer internship

What you will do

• Support strategic initiatives that improve the efficiency, consistency, and visibility of property operations across a large national retail portfolio.
• Analyze property management, facilities, and vendor performance data to identify trends, operational opportunities, and cost-saving recommendations.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and process documentation.
• Partner with Facilities, Real Estate, Construction, Procurement, Finance, Risk Management, and field operations.
• Complete a summer-long project with measurable business impact and present findings to Property Management leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field, with expected graduation between May 2027 and May 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
• Interest in corporate real estate, property management, facilities operations, or business operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment-based immigration sponsorship, including OPT or CPT, is not offered.

Nice to have

• Prior internship, work, or project experience in property management, real estate, facilities, operations, finance, or a related field.
• Experience analyzing data and developing recommendations from insights.
• Coursework in real estate, finance, accounting, business analytics, or operations management.
