Community Relations Intern (Fintech)

Location: In-office at the corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas, throughout the ten-week program from May 25 to July 30, 2027.

Salary: $23.00 per hour

What you will do

• Organize Habitat for Humanity builds in multiple cities in collaboration with executive leadership.
• Support sponsorship sourcing for annual charity events.
• Assist with the scholarship awards process.
• Organize community events such as back-to-school fairs, farmers markets, and food drives.
• Complete administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work in the Plano, Texas headquarters for the entire ten-week program.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Employment-based immigration sponsorship, including OPT or CPT, is not available.
• Be a rising junior or above at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Previous work or classroom experience in public relations, social work, nonprofit management, or community development.
