Community Relations Representative I (Medicaid)

Location: Remote in North Carolina; candidates must reside in Lumberton County or surrounding counties. The role includes travel to community events and other designated sites.

Salary: $56,200–$101,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop market coverage and community outreach for health insurance products in the assigned territory.
• Build strategic relationships with community organizations, DSS offices, local health departments, schools, providers, and other stakeholders.
• Plan and participate in health fairs, educational presentations, awareness campaigns, enrollment activities, and other community events.
• Support member education, outreach, enrollment, retention, Medicaid recertification, and renewal efforts.
• Assist members with accessing healthcare, transportation, and related services.
• Monitor competitive products, manage event documentation and budgets, prepare reports, and follow marketing and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Residence in North Carolina within Lumberton County or surrounding counties is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of marketing, sales, community relations, or outreach experience, preferably in managed care or Medicaid.
• State driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel and lift boxes containing marketing materials for events.
• Ability to follow regulatory, branding, documentation, and compliance standards.
