Project Manager (PMP Certified)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico. Onsite role with first-shift hours in Mexico, 25% travel, and no relocation.

What you will do

• Coordinate transition programs across organizational functions and manage internal and external project activities.
• Align transition and transformation project plans with overarching deal and customer plans.
• Support transition managers and project managers with scope, cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and execution.
• Act as the primary client liaison during transition activities and coordinate communication across internal departments.
• Establish and enforce transition processes covering reporting, risk management, quality control, escalations, lessons learned, and communications.
• Lead moderately to highly complex projects, develop best practices, and support operational and strategic plans.

Requirements

• Required PMP certification.
• Four-year or graduate degree in business, computer science, information technology, electrical/electronic engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in project management, IT, transition implementation, or a related field; an advanced degree with 3–5 years of experience may qualify.
• Experience with project planning, scoping, documentation, risk management, client services, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, SDLC, PMI methodology, change management, and Microsoft Project.

Nice to have

• ITIL certification.
• ITSM certification.
• Six Sigma methodology experience.
