Data Analytics and Visualization Consultant (Power BI)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; approximately 75% onsite co-location with the client team

What you will do

• Automate ETL processes and improve data preparation for front-end reporting.
• Develop efficient, maintainable data models and reporting-ready data structures.
• Build dashboards, visualizations, and reports that convert complex information into actionable insights.
• Partner with business, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
• Document data sources, transformation logic, reporting processes, and technical solutions.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience; college internships count.
• Experience developing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and at least one business intelligence tool, such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or comparable data preparation and analytics technologies; experience with Databricks or a similar cloud-based platform.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ICE Public Trust High Risk suitability; billing cannot begin until clearance and access are approved.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Databricks, or Palantir Foundry.
• Experience supporting Executive Branch stakeholders or federal clients.
• Interest in learning new technologies and improving analytics capabilities.
