Senior Consulting Engineer (Neo4j)

Location: London, United Kingdom; the role includes remote work and travel up to 50% of the time, occasionally outside the dedicated region.

What you will do

• Lead and contribute to hirify.global implementations with customer engineering teams from project inception through production rollout.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert in short- and long-term consulting engagements.
• Provide hands-on guidance, training, and education on hirify.global products and deployment preparation.
• Develop solution architectures and build prototypes that address customer requirements.
• Prepare solution proposals for customer engineering and management teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-class applications.
• Extensive experience with database technologies, data modeling, big data, or analytics.
• Knowledge of the Java ecosystem and hands-on experience with APIs, messaging, and middleware.
• Experience with complex data analysis, Agile development, DevOps, and customer-facing consulting projects.
• Ability to mentor and educate small groups, work independently or collaboratively, and learn new technologies as needed.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a consultative professional services organization.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, retail, or telecommunications.
• Graph database experience with hirify.global, OrientDB, TitanDB, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with Couchbase, MongoDB, MarkLogic, Teradata, or similar databases.
• Visualization experience with D3, Sigma.js, Linkurious, or Sawyer.
