Investment Professional, Data Governance (Data Governance)

Location: Must reside within 35 miles of One hirify.global Plaza in Columbus, Ohio; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Salary: $100,000–$168,000 per year.

What you will do

• Translate investment business needs into data requirements, business terms, ownership models, quality expectations, and downstream impact assessments.
• Support data governance processes, including data-change intake, decision tracking, data dictionaries, critical data element reviews, catalogs, lineage, and metadata.
• Lead data-quality issue identification, triage, root-cause analysis, remediation planning, scorecards, and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate with Technology and business partners on data elements, reference data, system enhancements, reporting improvements, and end-to-end data flows.
• Support requirements gathering, project planning, UAT, release approvals, issue resolution, and data access governance.
• Perform data profiling, develop quality and transformation rules, monitor exceptions, and use visualization to support business decisions.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in data management organizations, standards, or practices.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, business, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, or comparable experience and education.
• Proficiency in data acquisition, data wrangling, data visualization, and statistical analysis.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with Snowflake and Databricks is preferred.
• Experience with Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Azure, AWS, Redshift, S3, or EC2.
• Must reside within 35 miles of Columbus, Ohio; the role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization and does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.

• Graduate studies in business, statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
