Environmental Project Manager (Emergency Response & Remediation)

Location: Norfolk, MA, USA; onsite field and customer-site work required.

Salary: $114,800–$157,850 annually, depending on hiring locality. Annual incentive plan target: 15%.

What you will do

• Manage execution of environmental, emergency response, remediation, and hazardous-waste projects at customer sites and facilities.
• Serve as the primary contact for contractual requirements, work scopes, customer reporting, and issue escalation.
• Conduct regulatory inspections, waste characterization, shipping, profiling, and documentation for waste streams.
• Develop reuse, reduction, recycling, and alternate treatment programs with customers.
• Manage onsite technicians, leads, foremen, subcontractors, resources, and project expenditures.
• Provide training, end-user support, and assistance with technical systems and software implementation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of complex environmental waste-industry regulations and hazardous-waste treatment, storage, and disposal operations.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices, industrial hygiene, and applicable regulatory requirements, including RCRA, DOT, and TSCA.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, independent judgment, and resource-management skills.
• Technical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform onsite customer service and field-project responsibilities in Norfolk, Massachusetts.
