Environmental Project Manager

Location: Toledo, Ohio, with hybrid work available from one of hirify.global's Ohio offices

Salary: Minimum $100,000 annually, negotiable based on experience and qualifications

What you will do

• Manage environmental projects from scoping through completion, maintaining quality, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling.
• Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals.
• Act as a key client contact, mentor junior staff, and supervise project teams.
• Support business development and proposal preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of environmental consulting experience and 2+ years of project management experience.
• Experience with Ohio VAP, RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and BUSTR frameworks.
• Experience with Phase II ESAs, environmental sampling, and compliance-driven projects.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Nice to have

• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Ohio EPA supervisory experience.
