Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site five days per week in Carrollton, Texas

Annual base salary: $70,400–$128,379.99

What you will do

• Own incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes, including checklists, documentation, quality records, labeling, and release documentation.
• Support root-cause investigations using 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D methods, document CAPA actions, and verify corrective-action effectiveness.
• Drive defect reduction, Kaizen, process optimization, yield improvement, and reductions in rework hours and cost.
• Track supplier defects and performance, coordinate quality concerns with Supply Chain and Engineering, and support supplier corrective actions, PPAP, and process control.
• Participate in NPI builds, validation activities, inspection-plan development, documentation updates, and First Article Inspection.
• Maintain calibration tracking and support ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of quality experience in manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and experience supporting root-cause investigations.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and proficiency with Excel.
• Ability to work on-site on the manufacturing floor five days per week, follow plant safety requirements, and use required PPE.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
