Senior Specialist, Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Bristol, Pennsylvania, United States. Onsite role with a 9/80 work schedule. Security clearance eligibility is required; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

What you will do

• Establish quality evaluation and control systems for the assembly, integration, and testing of complex electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Lead hardware inspections, incoming material evaluations, electrical testing, and assembly build inspections across multiple programs.
• Manage FRB/MRB activities and drive issue closure through systemic preventive and corrective actions.
• Apply RCCA problem-solving methodologies and use metrics and KPIs to initiate course corrections.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including ZDP execution, and provide quality-process coaching and training.
• Communicate quality status and issues with internal teams, DCMA, prime customers, and key vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance upon hire; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace and DoD operations and in-depth project management experience.
• Experience developing quality protocols and ensuring compliance with government, customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Expertise with IPC standards for high-performance soldering, coating, and connector assembly.
• Expert understanding of AS9100.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
