Android Mobile Reverse Engineer

Location: Palm Bay, Florida, United States; U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance required. Not relocation eligible; relocation assistance is not available.

What you will do

• Develop native applications for Android devices using C/C++ on Linux and Unix platforms.
• Perform reverse engineering with static decompilers and disassemblers.
• Integrate reverse-engineering findings into development products.
• Work with Android OS subsystems, including Binder, and large open-source projects such as AOSP.
• Expand Android platform expertise to meet development objectives and customer requirements.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in STEM, with typically 5 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
• Professional experience with C/C++ on Unix/Linux and Make/CMake build systems.
• Knowledge of Unix features including named pipes, pipes, pthreads, and signal handlers.
• Experience with static decompilers such as Hex-Rays and disassemblers such as Ghidra.
• Experience developing against or working with large open-source projects such as AOSP.

Nice to have

• ARM64/ARM32 architecture experience.
• Linux/Unix bootloader experience, including U-Boot or Aboot.
• Experience developing and productizing N-days.
• Knowledge of SELinux, cgroups, and other Linux permission models.
• Familiarity with APK decompilation tools such as JEB, JADX, or Dex2Jar.
