TL;DR
Senior Accountant (SaaS/Accounts Receivable): Supporting month-end close, general ledger accuracy, reconciliations, invoicing, and collections across US and international markets with an accent on technical accounting, customer-facing AR ownership, and tax support. Focus on improving close, dunning, reporting, and billing workflows through automation and AI while resolving customer account issues and maintaining accurate financial records.

is a scaling technology company with a finance organization supporting B2B SaaS or subscription-based operations across US and international markets.
What you will do
- Support month-end and year-end close through journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy, investigate variances, and reconcile accounts and sub-ledgers, including accounts receivable.
- Own customer collections, including invoicing, structured dunning, payment plans, disputed charges, and escalation of at-risk accounts.
- Respond to customer requests for invoices, statements, W-9s, tax exemption documentation, RFP information, and other billing materials.
- Track AR aging, DSO, and collections metrics while ensuring invoices meet customer-specific requirements.
- Improve close, invoicing, dunning, reporting, and documentation workflows using automation and AI tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of general accounting experience, including month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Experience owning or directly supporting accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and dunning.
- Working knowledge of US sales/use tax and general familiarity with international VAT concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; ERP and CRM experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical and reconciliation skills, plus professional customer communication.
Nice to have
- CPA or CPA-eligible status.
- Experience in a B2B SaaS or subscription-based company.
- Experience with Rillet or a similar ERP and Salesforce or a similar CRM.
