Project Manager – AI & Innovation

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; flexible schedule with a hybrid/remote work model.

What you will do

• Lead AI, automation, innovation, digital product, proof-of-concept, MVP, and pilot initiatives from concept through deployment and adoption.
• Work directly with generative AI tools by developing, testing, and refining prompts for business use cases.
• Translate operational and commercial challenges into practical AI workflows, experiments, prototypes, and scalable solutions.
• Manage project plans, business cases, budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, success measures, and adoption plans.
• Coordinate IT, Operations, Sales, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners across a global matrix organisation.
• Support the Business Assurance AI roadmap by identifying opportunities, sequencing initiatives, and accelerating responsible AI adoption.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in project management, digital transformation, innovation management, digital product delivery, or a related field.
• Proven experience delivering technology-enabled or business transformation projects from concept through implementation.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and prompt engineering, including developing, testing, and refining prompts for business applications.
• Experience managing AI, automation, analytics, or digital product initiatives, along with strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Experience working in global, matrix organisations and coordinating contributors across functions and geographies.
• Fluency in English and the local language is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Testing, Inspection and Certification or Business Assurance industry.
• Experience with AI initiatives supporting Sales or Salesforce-related use cases.
• Agile project delivery experience.
• Spanish language skills.
