Commercial Finance Analyst (Telecommunications)

Location: Newbury, United Kingdom; hybrid working with office attendance 2–3 days per week and at least 8 days per month

A UK telecommunications organisation building a large mobile network and investing in 5G and digital infrastructure.

What you will do

• Partner with Network budget owners to provide financial insight, guidance, and constructive challenge.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cost control, and performance analysis across Network cost areas.
• Identify and communicate risks, opportunities, efficiencies, savings initiatives, and financial performance drivers.
• Build trusted relationships across Finance and Network teams while supporting accountability for targets and commitments.
• Deliver financial reporting, variance analysis, month-end accounting, reporting, and financial close activities.
• Improve forecasting, reporting, governance, and change management processes in a post-merger environment.

Requirements

• Strong commercial awareness and experience translating financial data into business insight.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and performance analysis in a complex business environment.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify risks and opportunities, influence decisions, encourage accountability, and challenge existing practices.
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, progress toward one of these qualifications, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in the United Kingdom with regular attendance at the Newbury office.
